Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations for children and adolescents, collecting relevant information concerning their emotional and psychological well-being.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that take into account the developmental stages of youth and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and family therapy, to address complex mental health issues.

• Conduct family therapy sessions aimed at empowering parents and caregivers with the tools needed to support their children’s mental health.

• Collaborate with a team of experienced child psychiatrists and mental health professionals to create comprehensive care plans that prioritize the holistic development of each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and management during urgent mental health situations, ensuring children's safety and emotional needs are met.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to foster understanding and empowerment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents grappling with various mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. Each patient's treatment will be tailored to their unique needs, emphasizing a family-integrated approach that acknowledges the critical role caregivers play in a young person's recovery and development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of relevant post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
\n
• Experience providing both individual and family therapy, emphasizing a compassionate, child-centered approach.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate trust and rapport-building with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficient in EHR systems and digital communication tools crucial for telehealth services.

• The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience in crisis intervention and managing high-stress situations effectively.

• Familiarity with various treatment modalities, including but not limited to Trauma-Informed Care and Play Therapy.

• Previous experience in a telehealth capacity is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we are pleased to provide a sign-on bonus as a part of our commitment to attracting top talent.
