Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide high-quality direct services, including behavioral health assessments, individual counseling sessions, and case management, tailored specifically to meet the needs of Black birthing families.

• Engage actively in clinical consultations and participate in collaborative learning opportunities with interdisciplinary teams.

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Participate in developing and implementing treatment plans that align with best practices and patient preferences.

• Adapt to the evolving needs of clients and the organization by performing other duties as assigned.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on providing comprehensive mental health support to Black birthing families. This specialized area requires sensitivity, understanding, and the ability to navigate the challenges these families face during pregnancy and postpartum periods. You will leverage your expertise to enhance their mental wellness and promote positive health outcomes through culturally responsive interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Current licensure in the state of California as a Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) is essential.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.

• The ability to work autonomously while asking for assistance and guidance when necessary to ensure optimal patient care.
