Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs of children and adolescents, leveraging diagnostic tools and techniques.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapies and are responsive to the unique developmental stages of each child.

• Provide tailored therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral strategies and family therapy, to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, empowering parents and caregivers to foster a supportive home environment conducive to the child's mental health.

• Collaborate actively with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated care approach and optimal patient outcomes.

• Respond to mental health crises by providing immediate interventions and support to young clients and their families.
\n
• Engage families in discussions about mental health conditions and available community resources, ensuring they are well-informed and supported.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation per HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring high-quality records of all interactions and interventions.

• Participate in case consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and strategies for improving care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advances in child and adolescent psychiatry to continuously enhance your professional skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on providing mental health support to children and adolescents facing a spectrum of disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). You will play an integral part in guiding these young individuals toward improved mental health and resilience through tailored interventions that consider their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting preferred.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of evidence-based mental health treatment modalities and therapeutic techniques specific to the pediatric population.

• Proven experience in conducting assessments and delivering therapeutic services to children and adolescents.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate approach to client care and strong communication abilities with children, parents, and interdisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient information efficiently.

• A collaborative mindset, demonstrating eagerness to work within a multidisciplinary team for the betterment of patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
