This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while still being part of a dynamic and engaging clinical team. Working hours are typically Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological needs and challenges of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s developmental stage, family dynamics, and unique mental health issues.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring outcomes are favorable and measurable, while adapting approaches as needed for each young patient.

• Conduct family therapy sessions to equip parents and caregivers with the tools to foster a nurturing environment conducive to healing and growth.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to provide cohesive and holistic care tailored to individual patient requirements.

• Provide crisis intervention services for children and adolescents experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization.

• Offer educational resources and guidance to patients and families about mental health conditions, effective treatment options, and available community resources.

• Maintain compliant and accurate clinical documentation as per legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and proper record-keeping.

• Actively engage in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development workshops to enhance integrated patient care.

• Stay updated on current research, methodologies, and best practices within child and adolescent psychiatry to continuously improve service quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily center around children and adolescents aged 5 to 18, addressing a wide spectrum of mental health concerns. Our young clients might present with a variety of challenges that include anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral issues. You will work collaboratively with families to empower them in understanding and addressing these challenges, creating effective support systems at home.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and active licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State is essential.

• Strong expertise in child and adolescent mental health disorders, including familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Prior experience providing individual and family therapy to young people.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with a compassionate approach to mental health care.

• Ability to establish rapport and build trust with patients and their families.
\n
• Proficient in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and navigating relevant computer applications.

• A team-oriented attitude, conducive to working within a multidisciplinary clinical setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-graduate experience providing therapy in a clinical setting is preferred.

• Experience with evidence-based practices specifically related to children and adolescents would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 80,000 and 105,000 per year. In addition to base salary, we offer a sign-on bonus to assist with your transition into our team.
