Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients’ histories and ascertain optimal treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient's trauma recovery journey.

• Provide therapeutic interventions grounded in evidence-based practices, such as EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients through challenging emotions and experiences.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and foster personal growth.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other treatment professionals to deliver integrated and holistic care, ensuring all aspects of patient well-being are addressed.

• Offer crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, maintaining composure while providing immediate support and guidance.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on supporting trauma survivors, helping them navigate the complexities of post-traumatic stress and building resilience through tailored therapeutic interventions. You will work with a diverse group of clients who may experience a range of emotional and psychological challenges resulting from their past experiences, creating a dynamic environment for both therapeutic growth and professional development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental expertise in therapeutic practice.

• A demonstrated ability to remain calm and collaborate effectively in high-stress scenarios.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications to manage patient care.

• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and staying updated on trauma-informed care best practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, with a preference for previous experience in trauma-focused therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
