Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and tailor treatment approaches accordingly.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies, modifying them based on patient progress and feedback.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and foster healing and integration.
\n
• Closely collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals within the organization to ensure integrated and holistic care for all patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies to safeguard patient well-being.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available resources for enhanced understanding and navigation of the healing process.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficiency.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions focused on enhancing trauma-informed care approaches.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health setting post-licensure.
\n
• Solid knowledge and practical application of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated skill in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions tailored to individual client needs.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle high-stress situations with professionalism.

• Proficiency in using EHR systems and familiarity with various computer applications.

• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
