Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify each patient’s challenges and goals.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care and ensure a unified approach.

• Provide crisis intervention to patients experiencing acute mental health challenges, offering immediate support and resources.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing cultural competency training initiatives.

• Constantly update your knowledge regarding best practices, emerging trends in mental health therapy, and cultural considerations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methods, and the principles of cultural competence.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy that is culturally responsive and clinically effective.

• Strong skills in crisis intervention, with the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a track record of establishing rapport with diverse populations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and requisite computer applications.
\n
• Dedication to upholding professional standards, including ethical considerations and confidentiality.

• A collaborative spirit, able to work effectively among a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, ideally with diverse populations.
