Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and present the most appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building, ensuring that each client receives tailored support.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients process their traumatic experiences and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely and appropriate assistance.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create an integrated care plan that addresses the multifaceted needs of each patient.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions focused on trauma-informed care to enhance your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including survivors of abuse and neglect. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with an emphasis on empathic and non-judgmental interactions.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications essential for documenting patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
