Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and identify customized treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement detailed, individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and building resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist clients in processing their trauma.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients develop effective coping strategies and facilitating their healing process.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, offering support during trauma-related emergencies to promote immediate safety and stability.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client sessions and create reports in compliance with legal and ethical standards for mental health care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care and stay current with research and best practices in the field.

Our clients may present with complex trauma histories, PTSD, and dissociative disorders, requiring a depth of understanding and a sensitive approach. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, displaying a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and comprehensive proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions with proven client outcomes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, showcasing a compassionate and non-judgmental approach with clients.

• Demonstrated ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other necessary computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
