Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions and facilitate group therapy for adult clients in an outpatient setting, adhering to best practices in teletherapy.
\n
• Perform comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments to inform treatment planning and interventions tailored to each client.
\n
• Equip clients with coping strategies and social skills, manage anger, and reduce risk behaviors, including self-injurious behavior and physical aggression.
\n
• Assist clients and their caretakers in developing decision-making skills for managing behavioral challenges at home, enhancing overall family dynamics.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to provide integrated support for clients and their families, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
\n
• Complete and submit all required documentation, including intake forms, treatment plans, and session notes, in a timely manner to meet compliance standards.
\n
• Participate in monthly team meetings and submit weekly performance reports to ensure continuous improvement and accountability within the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population consists primarily of adults facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will have the chance to foster meaningful therapeutic relationships, providing essential support and guidance to help clients navigate their personal journeys toward healing and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or a related field is required (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LMFT).

• Evidence of clinical mental health training and expertise dealing with adult mental health issues.
\n
• Experience with treatment planning, goal setting, progress note documentation, and conducting initial assessments.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing the DSM-V for accurate assessments and diagnosis.
\n
• Must possess or be willing to obtain training in Crisis Intervention methods.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Post-internship field experience providing therapeutic support to adults.
\n
• Familiarity with various counseling approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Gestalt Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-responsive methodologies.

• Experience in providing positive behavior support and employing skills to enhance client interaction.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish a rapport with clients remotely.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
