Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct insightful trauma-informed mental health assessments to gauge patients' trauma histories, ensuring the identification of tailored treatment methodologies.

• Formulate and execute individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and the development of resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their trauma and cultivate effective coping strategies.

• Engage in collaborative efforts with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to develop an integrated care plan for each client, ensuring all aspects of their well-being are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, showcasing your ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources, fostering a deeper understanding of the healing process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals who have experienced varying degrees of trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
