Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Optum Envision, you will predominantly work with patients facing complex mental health challenges that often intertwine with medical issues. Our focus includes, but is not limited to, individuals suffering from autoimmune disorders, substance use disorders, and chronic pain. The role demands a compassionate approach, understanding the holistic nature of health and the individual needs of patients from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York.

• Excellence in communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries while ensuring patient confidentiality.

• Competence in using computer applications and navigating electronic health record systems effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
