Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s history and specific mental health needs, ensuring a tailored approach to treatment.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on the patient’s recovery journey, emphasizing resilience and coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their trauma, build effective coping strategies, and promote overall mental well-being.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support when patients face trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources, equipping them with knowledge for a better recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in case consultations and participate in team meetings focused on trauma-informed practices and ongoing professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals impacted by trauma. This includes patients suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and a strong grasp of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, showcasing a compassionate and non-judgmental approach with clients.

• Ability to perform effectively in high-stress situations, maintaining calmness and control.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical software.

• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
