Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ emotional, behavioral, and psychological states, ensuring accurate documentation from initial consultation through to treatment completion.

• Develop individualized and group treatment plans that address the specific needs of clients, including individuals, couples, and families.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress and obtain feedback to adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that clients are moving toward their recovery goals.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals, to coordinate care and improve client outcomes.
\n
• Manage follow-ups with healthcare providers for clients requiring additional support, ensuring a comprehensive approach to mental health care.

• Assist family members and caregivers in understanding mental health challenges, providing guidance and resources to improve the overall support system for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients span a diverse range of demographics, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, trauma, and other mental health conditions. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have the opportunity to work with clients from various backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their unique cultural and emotional needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, with a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to document and manage client information effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience addressing co-occurring physical and mental health conditions, as well as substance use disorders.
\n
• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and guidelines.

• In-depth understanding of the pharmacological treatments prescribed by medical professionals and their psychological impacts.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear clinical documentation and effective client interactions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a sympathetic disposition, fostering trust and rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
