Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ histories and choose suitable therapeutic approaches for their unique situations.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that are specifically tailored to support trauma recovery and build resilience.

• Deliver a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies as well as ongoing support as needed.

• Educate clients and their families about the effects of trauma, coping mechanisms, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation, adhering to all legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to foster collaboration and share insights focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, Psychologist, or LMFT in Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, preferably in settings serving trauma-affected populations.

• Robust knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed methods for treatment.

• Demonstrable experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies.
\n
• Superb communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.
\n
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.

• Familiarity and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technologies.

• A collaborative spirit and willingness to contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with experience in providing trauma-informed care and a background in community health settings. Previous exposure to both individual and group therapy modalities, as well as crisis intervention experience, is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
