Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions, focusing on symptoms of mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals, preferences, and specific mental health challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate meaningful progress.

• Educate clients and their families on the nature of mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance recovery.

• Monitor client progress, modifying treatment plans as needed, and ensure continual adjustment based on clinical observations and feedback.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and address complex cases with a holistic approach.

Qualifications\n

• A valid California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.

• Understanding of California laws and professional ethics pertaining to mental health services.

• Successful completion of a background check through the FBI and DOJ.

• Recent (within six months) Tuberculosis (TB) test result.

• Familiarity with addiction treatment methodologies is a plus.
