This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work comfortably from your own space while still being an integral part of a multidisciplinary team. You will collaborate with fellow licensed therapists, case managers, and other professionals to coordinate care for our clients. Regular business hours are maintained, with flexibility required for occasional evening shifts to enhance service availability for our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs to create tailored treatment plans that reflect their individual circumstances.

• Provide evidence-based therapy through individual, group, and family sessions, utilizing a diverse range of therapeutic models such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Collaborate closely with case managers and psychiatrists to ensure comprehensive treatment options are communicated and adopted for each client.

• Utilize your skills for crisis intervention, offering immediate support and guidance to clients in acute distress situations, ensuring their safety and wellness.

• Participate actively in community outreach programs, working to elevate mental health awareness and reduce stigma associated with seeking help.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele reflective of the Joliet community, including individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. This role provides the opportunity to enhance clinical skills and cultural competence in addressing a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and independent licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.

• A completed master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Proven ability to establish therapeutic relationships, exhibiting exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that resonate with a diverse clientele.

• A strong commitment to cultural competence and the awareness of the unique challenges faced by individuals from marginalized communities.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills essential for maintaining accurate documentation and commitment to clinical responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in community mental health settings or comparable environments is highly valued. Familiarity with teletherapy practices and proficiency in digital documentation systems can enhance service delivery and performance in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually , commensurate with experience and credentials.
