This position offers flexibility as it is primarily remote, allowing you to perform your duties from the comfort of your home while having access to our outpatient office as needed. Regular business hours are complemented by occasional evening shifts to accommodate the needs of our clients, ensuring that mental health support is available when it’s needed most.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately identify the mental health needs of clients, developing personalized treatment plans that cater to their unique circumstances.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, and families, utilizing a range of methodologies tailored to respond effectively to a variety of mental health issues.

• Engage in collaborative efforts with case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to each client’s treatment and success.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during acute distress situations, demonstrating a compassionate response and utilizing your clinical expertise to guide clients toward stabilization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a key member of the New Leaf Counseling team, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your ability to demonstrate cultural competence will enhance your interactions and build trust, allowing you to facilitate impactful therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Exceptional communication skills with an emphasis on building rapport and therapeutic relationships with a varied client demographic.

• Strong cultural sensitivity and competence to effectively engage with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to ensure thorough and timely documentation and client follow-up.
