Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to understand clients' mental health statuses and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing culturally responsive and inclusive therapeutic techniques to help clients navigate their challenges.

• Monitor client progress diligently, adjusting therapeutic strategies as needed to optimize outcomes and ensure that clients feel empowered throughout their journey.

• Provide timely referrals to psychiatrists or other healthcare professionals when additional support or medication management is required.

• Document all client interactions accurately in the EHR system to ensure continuity of care and adherence to ethical guidelines.

• Maintain a calm and supportive presence during crisis situations, utilizing strong crisis intervention skills to de-escalate challenging scenarios.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of related clinical experience in the mental health field.
\n
• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds, showcasing excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n
