Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments to identify patient needs and formulate personalized treatment plans.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Facilitating group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops that foster community engagement and provide support around common mental health issues.

• Coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient treatment.

• Providing essential crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support for those in need.

• Educating patients on mental health conditions, treatment alternatives, and available community resources.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster positive therapeutic relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
