Work Environment\n

In this remote role, you will work within a dynamic and flexible virtual environment that supports your professional development while catering to the needs of our diverse clientele. Although based remotely, our team maintains strong communication and collaboration through regular virtual meetings and case consultations to ensure a cohesive care approach. A typical workweek is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to gain insights into patients' conditions and collaboratively formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients, including individual, couple, and family therapy, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to create a community atmosphere and promote mental wellness.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and psychologists to deliver coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention services and develop specific strategies to help patients navigate mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients on various mental health conditions, therapeutic techniques, and available community resources to foster their understanding and engagement in the treatment process.

• Maintain confidential patient documentation that complies with all legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficiency.

• Participate actively in case consultations and contribute to continuous team engagement and professional development activities.

• Stay current with industry trends and research to enhance therapeutic practices and patient outcomes.

Our counseling center serves a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized and accredited institution.

• Current and valid professional licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and efficiently developing effective treatment protocols.

• Experience providing therapy to individuals and groups from various backgrounds and cultures.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

• Strong ethical standards and adherence to professional boundaries in clinical practice.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
