Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Use standardized tools and personalized interviews to evaluate clients’ mental health conditions, gathering important historical and contextual information.

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to set realistic therapeutic goals and develop individualized plans that incorporate evidence-based practices suitable for their circumstances.

• Provide Individual Therapy: Deliver compassionate therapy sessions using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other evidence-based approaches that resonate with the client.

• Engage in Teletherapy: Provide virtual therapy options for clients who prefer remote sessions, ensuring equitable access to treatment that meets their unique needs.

• Document and Maintain Records: Keep accurate and timely clinical documentation to meet ethical and regulatory standards while ensuring seamless care continuity.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Hope Haven, you will work with a diverse client population that includes individuals facing trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. Your role will be pivotal in creating a safe space for clients to express their feelings and work through their difficulties, ultimately aiding in their journey toward healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license in the state of Tennessee as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing trust and rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• An empathetic and non-judgmental approach towards clients’ experiences while demonstrating cultural competence and awareness.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to manage caseloads and administrative responsibilities effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a community health clinic or similar environments, offering insight into a diverse range of client concerns and presenting issues.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.

• Offering a competitive salary in the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
