Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns, formulate clinical diagnoses, and develop tailored treatment plans using DSM-5 criteria.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches.

• Offer crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, guiding them safely to effective resolution and stabilization.
\n
• Maintain meticulous, accurate, and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to HIPAA and other ethical obligations.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive care tailored to client needs.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, while advocating for their rights and needs.

• Engage in ongoing training and professional development to keep up with the latest trends and best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus on serving a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds and demographics in the Memphis area. Your clientele will include children, adolescents, adults, and families facing an array of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and severe mental illness. Your expertise will help clients navigate their unique circumstances, fostering resilience and positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A current license as a Mental Health Therapist such as LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

• Minimum of two years of relevant professional experience within mental health settings.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
