This role will primarily be remote, with the flexibility to balance personal and professional obligations effectively. Though much of your clinical work will be done from home, the position allows for occasional visits to our community clinic, where you'll engage with colleagues and clients in a supportive atmosphere. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health needs to develop tailored treatment plans that address specific challenges and goals.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, maneuvering through modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as needed.

• Collaborate closely with case managers and psychiatrists to coordinate care, ensuring all aspects of a client’s health and well-being are addressed consistently and effectively.

• Engage with clients in crisis situations, employing empathy and expertise to provide immediate support and intervention in acute distress scenarios.

• Participate in community outreach programs and educational workshops aimed at increasing mental health awareness and reducing stigma in the wider community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our community center serves a diverse population, including individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. You will engage with clients from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, enhancing your clinical experience and cultural competence. The ability to connect with clients from different backgrounds is essential, as we strive to provide inclusive care tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications\n

• An active and independent license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.

• A master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is mandatory.

• Proven interpersonal communication skills to build rapport and therapeutic relationships with clients, demonstrated through previous roles.

• Demonstrable cultural competence and sensitivity in effectively working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to maintain accurate and timely documentation and records of client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is necessary for this role, candidates with additional experience in community mental health settings or specialized training in trauma-informed care are highly favored. Experience with telehealth platforms is also advantageous as remote face-to-face therapy becomes increasingly popular.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with your level of experience and credentials.
