Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify clients' needs and collaborate in developing personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups to support clients in managing prevalent mental health issues while fostering a sense of community.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive and holistic care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services and timely support to clients experiencing mental health emergencies.

• Offer education regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower clients.

• Maintain precise and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development initiatives to enhance your own skills and contribute to the growth of the organization.

• Stay updated with current research, trends, and advancements within the field of mental health therapy to continuously improve service delivery.

The therapists at Healing Hearts Counseling primarily serve a diverse range of clients, including individuals struggling with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and various life transitions. As a therapist, you will be instrumental in fostering resilience and providing hope to these vulnerable populations, particularly by addressing the unique challenges faced by those within hospice environments.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders along with familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic interventions.

• Proven expertise in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, and creating impactful treatment plans.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy across diverse populations, demonstrating cultural competence.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering trust and rapport with clients.

• Strong ethical judgment with a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and efficient communication.

• The ability to collaboratively work within a multidisciplinary team setting is crucial for success.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred.
