Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring a thorough understanding of their unique needs and circumstances.

• Deliver individualized and family therapy sessions that are tailored to address the specific psychological and emotional concerns identified during assessments.
\n
• Efficiently manage documentation, including treatment plans, billing processes, and insurance authorization forms, adhering to time constraints and compliance standards.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis and safety plans as needed, alongside relapse prevention and wellness plans to facilitate patient stability and functioning.
\n
• Create and implement discharge plans that reflect the needs and goals of patients transitioning out of intensive services.
\n
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and NEHS policies and procedures, maintaining the integrity of our service delivery.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and effectiveness as a mental health counselor.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations and agency meetings to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members.

• Complete all necessary licensure requirements and mandatory training to maintain professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds, with varying mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges. Your work will focus on creating an inclusive and respectful therapeutic environment that acknowledges and values each individual’s unique cultural identity.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of Massachusetts.
