Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and distinct treatment needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and building resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through their healing processes and empowering them with coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and continuity of treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention to support patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and emotional support.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available support resources.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation that adheres to all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary population served at Stem Psychological Center consists of individuals impacted by various forms of trauma. Our clients often present with complex histories, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By adopting a trauma-informed approach, the successful candidate will not only address their immediate mental health needs but also contribute to their long-term recovery and wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Mast and/or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as a LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.
\n
• 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficiency in implementing trauma-focused therapies and counseling interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach in all client interactions.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations while delivering compassionate care.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

• Strong collaborative spirit, able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
