Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews, documenting the client's journey from their first session through to the conclusion of therapy.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health to create tailored treatment plans that reflect their individual needs.

• Develop effective intervention strategies and recovery plans for a wide range of demographics, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that promote healing, resilience, and personal growth.

• Monitor and document client progress regularly to adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring effective outcomes.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate care and enhance client outcomes.

• Follow up with medical professionals regarding clients admitted to the hospital, ensuring continuity of care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.

• A minimum of a passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong foundations in mental health counseling with previous experience providing therapeutic services.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, such as AVATAR, to manage client documentation efficiently.
