Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques, tailored specifically to clients’ needs for stress reduction and emotional well-being.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients’ stressors, mental health challenges, and personal goals, integrating mindfulness strategies accordingly.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, incorporating mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques aimed at promoting self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Lead group workshops and classes focused on mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building, thereby enhancing community engagement.

• Collaborate with other mental health providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive treatment plans that effectively integrate mindfulness into all therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain meticulous records of client progress, treatment interventions implemented, and adapted treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, engaging in personal mindfulness practice to deepen your expertise in mindfulness-based approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT in the state of Maryland is required.

• Strong foundation in integrating mindfulness practices within therapeutic frameworks.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
