Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and assessments to identify individual needs and treatment goals.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, employing therapeutic techniques to address mental health concerns effectively.

• Coordinate care by developing treatment plans, facilitating referrals, and ensuring collaborative approaches with other health care providers.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including session notes and progress reports, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in weekly clinical supervision meetings to refine therapeutic skills and enhance client outcomes.

• Engage in mental health rounds and case conferences to discuss client progress and treatment strategies with colleagues.

• Lead educational workshops or group therapy sessions aimed at fostering coping skills and resilience among clients.

• Stay current with best practices in mental health treatment through continuous professional development and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The individuals you will support often experience a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and severe mental illnesses. With your assistance, these clients can develop effective coping mechanisms and strategies to manage their conditions, leading to improved quality of life and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license in the state of Washington as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of five years of full-time, paid professional experience providing direct care in a behavioral health setting, preferably within community health or related environments.

Preferred Experience\n

Applicants with prior experience in crisis intervention, conducting comprehensive assessments, and developing treatment plans for individuals with complex behavioral problems, substance use, or severe mental illness will be given preference. Knowledge of inpatient settings and prior involvement in interdisciplinary team activities will be advantageous and enhance your candidacy for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience.
