Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations by performing preliminary interviews and assessments, ensuring comprehensive documentation from initial consultation to treatment completion.

• Assess clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health to inform the development of tailored intervention and recovery plans.
\n
• Implement individual and group therapy sessions while creating a safe and empathetic space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.
\n
• Monitor clients' progress during treatment, making necessary adjustments to their care plans in response to changing needs.
\n
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Provide timely follow-up with clients who have been hospitalized, working alongside their medical teams to facilitate a smooth transition to outpatient care.

• Identify and mitigate barriers to recovery by recognizing maladaptive behaviors and providing strategies to overcome them.

• Engage with families and primary caregivers, equipping them with tools to support their loved ones effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients encompass a diverse demographic, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and addiction issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Oregon.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine, empathetic approach to client care.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience as a mental health counselor, with a demonstrated history of providing effective therapeutic interventions.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to maintain client documentation.

• Experience addressing physical health conditions, substance abuse disorders, and their interplay with mental health.
\n
• Familiarity with best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) to ensure high-quality client care.

• A deep understanding of psychopharmacology and the impact of psychiatric medications on treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise.
