Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance effectively. You will predominantly work during standard business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our virtual environment allows for seamless collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, ensuring that we deliver integrated and comprehensive care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, using standardized tools and observational techniques.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique experiences, goals, and preferences, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while adapting approaches as needed based on client feedback and progress.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, various treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to encourage proactive participation in the therapeutic process.

• Monitor and document clients' progress throughout treatment, adjusting plans to ensure effectiveness and addressing any emerging concerns.

• Engage in case consultations and collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to create a harmonious care plan for clients, integrating medication management as necessary.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest research in mood disorders to enhance treatment methodologies and share insights within team discussions.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment strategies meticulously, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards to protect client confidentiality.

• Advocate for patients by speaking out against stigma associated with mental health issues and promoting awareness about supportive resources available within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adults experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will work closely with clients from various backgrounds, ensuring that culturally competent practices are employed to provide effective care tailored to individual needs. Through your expertise, you will not only assist clients in managing their symptoms but also empower them to enhance their overall mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT within Massachusetts.

• Strong proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, specifically Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology to facilitate collaboration with psychiatrists in managing client medications effectively.

• Documentation of successful treatment outcomes, indicating a solid track record dealing with mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of building rapport and trust with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a community health setting or outpatient clinic.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
