Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify the specific needs and histories of each patient, facilitating personalized treatment planning.

• Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building, aiming for measurable patient outcomes.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to aid patients in processing their trauma.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to develop essential coping strategies and foster a sense of community.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and integration of care for patients, enhancing treatment efficacy.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and emotional stability.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, equipping them with the knowledge to navigate challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably with a focus on trauma-related disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
