Better You Mental and Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist specializing in mood disorders to become an integral part of our dynamic outpatient team. Work Environment\n

This role provides the flexibility of a remote work setting, backed by the supportive resources of our outpatient office. Our work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with periodic shifts during evenings and weekends. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms related to mood disorders, determining their severity and impact on daily functioning.

• Work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address challenges related to mood disorders.

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families, helping them understand mood disorders and treatment options available.
\n
• Monitor clients' progress throughout therapy, adjusting treatment plans in response to their evolving needs.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure an integrated care approach that considers all aspects of a client’s wellbeing.

• Stay updated on current research and methodologies pertaining to mood disorders to ensure best practices in therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss client progress and share insights with colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Actively advocate for the destigmatization of mental health issues within the community, promoting awareness and support for those affected by mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Clinical Mental Health Therapist at Better You, you will primarily work with individuals coping with a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to: depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Each patient encounter provides a unique opportunity to contribute positively to their mental health journey, offering professional insights tailored to their personal experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the State of Massachusetts.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, ideally with a focus on mood disorders.
\n
• Strong proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Demonstrated understanding of psychopharmacology and the collaborative dynamics essential in multidisciplinary care teams.

• Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of building trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer:
