Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients' psychological, social, and emotional needs, ultimately developing personalized treatment plans to address those needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to help clients navigate their mental health challenges effectively.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups aimed at fostering community and addressing common psychological concerns.

• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention for patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, offering immediate assessment and support as required.

• Educate clients on various mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources to enhance their understanding and handling of their issues.

• Ensure the maintenance of accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a valid and current license in Texas as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.

• Solid knowledge and understanding of a variety of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches.

• Exceptional ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and create effective, personalized treatment plans.

• Experience in providing individual and group therapy to a diverse clientele.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of practical experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly in outpatient settings. Experience working with diverse populations, especially in areas related to trauma, substance abuse, or crisis intervention, will be considered an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
