Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote yet provides dynamic outpatient office interactions in Maryland. The typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis, allowing for flexibility and adaptability in your work schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients in developing individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances and aspirations.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring robust, effective treatment.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, elucidating treatment options and empowering them with self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress consistently, adjusting treatment plans based on continuous evaluation and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with mood disorders. This includes adults struggling with depression, bipolar disorders, and various anxiety disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience with a focus on mood disorders.
\n
• Proficient in evidence-based treatment modalities; expertise in CBT and DBT is highly preferred.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology is essential, coupled with collaborative skills to work alongside psychiatrists effectively.

• Proven success in delivering positive mental health outcomes for clients.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of experience are required, further specialized training in mood disorders or advanced certifications in therapeutic techniques will be considered advantageous and enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges between USD 80,000 and 100,000 per year, alongside additional bonuses and a sign-on bonus.
