Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each client’s personal goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Utilize evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to treat mood disorders effectively.

• Provide education and resources for clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create a holistic treatment approach for clients.

• Keep current with recent advances in mood disorder research and integrate this knowledge into clinical practices.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development to enhance your clinical skills.

• Be a vocal advocate for your clients, promoting understanding and support around mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals facing challenges related to mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. The diverse clientele you serve will require sensitivity to various backgrounds and life experiences, emphasizing the importance of empathy and cultural competence in your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current licensure in California as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or licensed psychologist.
\n
• Proficiency in implementing evidence-based treatments such as CBT and DBT, with an understanding of psychopharmacology.

• Demonstrated experience in effectively treating mood disorders and a deep understanding of therapeutic best practices.
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect genuinely with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive yearly salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
