This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while maintaining a connection to our outpatient office. You will work traditional office hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments of clients to determine the severity and nature of mood disorders, including symptoms of depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

• Collaborate closely with clients to develop customized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and aligned with their personal preferences and values.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address clients' needs.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and effective self-care strategies to encourage greater engagement in their recovery.

• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as required based on their evolving needs and responses to therapy.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.

• Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of mental health to continually improve therapeutic approaches and client care.

• Maintain precise documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and promote best practices.

• Actively advocate for the rights and mental health needs of clients, working to reduce stigma associated with mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals facing various mood disorders, such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Clients come from diverse backgrounds, each with their own unique challenges and circumstances. Your sensitivity to these factors will play a crucial role in building rapport and trust, enhancing the therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, PsyD, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Proficiency in recognized evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the capacity to work collaboratively with psychiatrists and medical personnel.
\n
• Demonstrated success in treating mood disorders with a proven track record of positive client outcomes.

• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to build rapport and connect with clients from various demographic backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years of clinical experience in a mental health setting with a focus on mood disorders.

• Experience with teletherapy or remote counseling practices, especially in an outpatient context.

• Additional training or certifications in specific therapeutic methodologies related to mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
