Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, enabling you to balance your professional responsibilities with your personal life effectively. While primarily working from home, you will be fully integrated into our team through regular virtual meetings and collaborative case discussions. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments using evidence-based practices, ensuring the creation of personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities, tailored to individual patients' conditions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and applicable regulatory standards, ensuring compliance and quality care delivery.

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary treatment team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to create a holistic approach to client care.

• Regularly participate in case consultations and peer review meetings to refine treatment approaches and enhance the quality of services provided.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment pathways, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Solaris Health System, you will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from children to adults facing a variety of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure in Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Proven ability to apply solution-focused psychotherapy techniques tailored to individual needs, resulting in effective treatment outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

While a Master's or Doctoral degree is essential, candidates with additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities such as EMDR, play therapy, or trauma-informed care will be viewed favorably. Experience working within community health settings or similar environments is also beneficial. A proven track record of working with varied client demographics will be a significant asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
