Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, enabling you to maintain flexibility while diligently supporting the mental health needs of your clients. You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, in a community health clinic environment that prioritizes accessible mental health resources for the community we serve. Occasionally, schedule flexibility may be necessary to accommodate patient needs, specifically during standard office hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify client needs and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Create and implement customized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), among others.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state guidelines.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to share insights, enhance treatment quality, and ensure coordinated care for patients.

• Engage in regular case consultations and peer reviews to refine therapeutic techniques and share best practices.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families, helping them navigate mental health disorders and the available treatment options and community resources.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health research to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge care.

You will be responsible for providing culturally sensitive care that resonates with our diverse community in Pasadena and beyond. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• An active license in the state of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Psychologist.

• Demonstrated expertise in solution-focused psychotherapy approaches, with the ability to adapt strategies to the specific needs of each client.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

While a bachelor’s degree is the minimum requirement, preference will be given to candidates with extensive experience in clinical settings, particularly in community health or outpatient environments. Familiarity with digital therapy tools and electronic health records (EHR) systems is also advantageous, as these tools facilitate streamlined documentation and communication.
