Work Environment\n

This role offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you to deliver critical mental health services from the comfort of your home while connected with a supportive and collaborative team. Though primarily working online, you will leverage telehealth tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate patient interactions and documentation. Our flexible approach to scheduling includes a standard workweek from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs as necessary.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, identifying tailored treatment approaches for their unique situations.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and resilience in collaboration with each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address specific trauma-related issues.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on helping patients process their trauma experiences, develop effective coping mechanisms, and engage in their healing journeys.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for all patients.

• Play an integral role in crisis intervention by providing immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping strategies, and available community resources to empower their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous documentation and patient records while adhering to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards.

• Engage actively in team case consultations, professional development activities, and team meetings aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state licensure as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• Strong familiarity with trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.
