Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Quail Run Health System, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and formulate individualized treatment approaches.

• Creating and implementing tailored treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and personal empowerment.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) through both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitating a safe space for patients to process their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and advance their healing journey.

• Working alongside psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.

• Responding to crises by providing timely intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive the support they need.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available support resources.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with both legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care practices.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience in trauma-focused therapy is preferred, we encourage all interested professionals with a passion for mental health counseling to apply.
