Your role as a licensed mental health counselor will primarily involve remote interactions, yet you will also participate in an outpatient office environment for certain sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' substance use history and mental health needs, which serve as the foundation for appropriate treatment planning.

• Create individualized treatment plans that not only address addiction issues but also incorporate strategies for managing underlying mental health conditions, utilizing evidence-based frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive space for clients to express their challenges, learn coping skills, and build lasting strategies for recovery.

• Consistently collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and case managers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to the clients’ treatment, fostering integrated care and positive outcomes.

• Maintain up-to-date and confidential records that comply with ethical and regulatory guidelines, ensuring accuracy and security in client documentation.

You will work with a diverse clientele predominantly seeking assistance for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health problems. Our clients come from a broad range of backgrounds in Fort Worth, Texas, and they are in various stages of recovery. Qualifications\n

• A current, valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.

• A bachelor's degree is essential; a master's degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a similar field is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience or specialized training in addiction counseling and the treatment of substance use disorders.

• A deep understanding of evidence-based practices addressing substance abuse alongside co-occurring mental health disorders.

• Proven therapeutic and counseling skills with the ability to create rapport, motivate, and inspire clients in their journeys of recovery.
