Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Winter Therapy, LLC, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth assessments to evaluate the individual needs and mental health histories of clients.

• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that may include evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Providing ongoing mental health education and guidance to clients and their families, helping them navigate challenges and build coping strategies.

• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.

• Staying informed about the latest practices and trends in mental health, contributing to the overall quality of care provided by the organization.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

• A current and valid New York State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with proficiency in telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with at least two years of post-master's experience in a mental health counseling role are preferred. Previous experience in outpatient settings and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities will enhance the candidate's ability to succeed in this role.
