Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments that thoroughly evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and associated impacts on daily functioning.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in close collaboration with clients, integrating their goals, preferences, and feedback into a structured therapeutic approach.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address and mitigate mood disorders effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, outlining treatment options and promoting self-care strategies that empower clients to manage their conditions independently.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes based on therapeutic advancements and feedback.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and holistic treatment approach for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research and evidence in the field, applying new insights to enhance treatment efficacy and provide state-of-the-art care.

• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with individuals suffering from a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Our clientele is diverse, and your approach will be tailored to meet the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client seeking support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas is mandatory.

• Demonstrated expertise in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders is essential.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacological interventions, enabling effective collaboration with prescribers and interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits\n
