Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing for flexibility while you collaborate with a dedicated team. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring that you can maintain your personal life while impacting the community positively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms related to mood disorders, utilizing standardized tools and therapeutic interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to create and implement personalized treatment plans that respect their individual goals and preferences.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, potential treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to promote mental wellness.

• Regularly monitor and document clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans based on their evolving needs and responses to therapy.

• Engage with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive care delivery, integrating medication management when needed.

• Stay abreast of the latest research in mental health treatment, contributing insights to team discussions to enhance clinical practices continually.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all client interactions in strict adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to foster a collaborative environment, sharing best practices and insights on mood disorder management.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, striving to reduce the stigma surrounding mood disorders and promote a greater understanding of mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals struggling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression and anxiety. Your expertise will be critical in guiding patients from diverse backgrounds through their mental health challenges, providing them with the tools and support necessary to improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, PsyD, or LMFT in the state of Texas is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proven expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, including extensive experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• A deep understanding of psychopharmacology and experience collaborating with psychiatrists is highly preferred.
