Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health, establishing rapport and trust to facilitate open communication.

  Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based modalities tailored to the specific concerns of each client.

  Provide regular individual therapy sessions as well as group therapy, utilizing culturally responsive approaches to meet diverse needs.

  Monitor client progress, adjusting therapeutic strategies as necessary to support their evolving needs and goals.

  Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, to create a network of support for clients requiring additional services.

  Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies.

  Participate in ongoing training and professional development to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients dealing with various mental health issues, including but not limited to substance abuse disorders, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. This diversity requires a counselor who not only possesses a deep understanding of various mental health disorders but also demonstrates cultural competence and sensitivity, ensuring that therapy is inclusive and respectful of each client's unique background and experiences.

  Educational Requirement: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  Licensure: A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas is mandatory.

  Experience: At least two years of relevant clinical experience working with individuals in a mental health setting.

  Core Skills: Strong crisis intervention capabilities, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

  Technical Proficiencies: Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a strong aptitude for using technology in clinical practice.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
