Work Environment\n

This is a remote position that allows for flexibility while fostering a collaborative team culture. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with potential flexibility to accommodate patient needs and schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain a deep understanding of patients' unique experiences and challenges.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the individual needs of each patient.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address a wide variety of mental health concerns, with a focus on resilience, empowerment, and holistic well-being.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, potential treatment options, and available community resources to foster informed decision-making.

• Maintain meticulous, accurate, and confidential documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training to ensure a continuously improving practice.

• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and relevant cultural considerations in mental health therapy to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or psychologist in the state of Texas.

• A profound understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities with a strong emphasis on cultural competence.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy using culturally responsive approaches that promote inclusion and understanding.

• Proficient crisis intervention skills, adaptability, and resilience in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish a trusting rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital tools.

• Commitment to maintaining strict professional boundaries, adhering to ethical guidelines, and ensuring confidentiality in all interactions.

New Hope Counseling Services offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000, based on experience and qualifications.
