Work Environment\n

This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility and efficiency in delivering care to clients. While you will primarily work from home, you will be a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, collaborating with psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists to ensure a holistic approach to treatment. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening hours required based on client appointments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and substance use issues, ensuring accurate identification of co-occurring disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, utilizing evidence-based therapies tailored to their unique needs.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on building coping skills, enhancing emotional regulation, and developing effective relapse prevention strategies.

• Engage in regular substance use monitoring sessions and apply motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and support during their recovery process.

• Educate clients and their families on the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, underscoring the importance of treatment compliance and self-care.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of interactions, treatment progress, and referrals in compliance with ethical and legal requirements.

• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in best practices for treating co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work primarily with clients suffering from co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, providing compassionate and individualized care that recognizes the unique challenges of this population. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A thorough understanding of the complexities surrounding the interplay between mental health conditions and substance use disorders, along with a commitment to staying informed about developments in the field.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a mental health counseling role, with substantial exposure to co-occurring disorder treatment.

• Prior experience in an integrated care setting where collaboration with a diverse team was paramount.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to $100,000, along with a generous sign-on bonus.
