Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments through preliminary interviews, meticulously documenting client history and therapeutic progress from the first consultation through the entire treatment process.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health, utilizing appropriate assessment tools and methodologies.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices tailored for individuals, couples, families, and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, promoting a safe and effective environment for clients to explore their thoughts and experiences.

• Monitor and assess client progress, adapting intervention strategies as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals, to develop comprehensive intervention plans that address all aspects of client health.

• Conduct follow-up consultations with healthcare providers for clients who may require additional support or hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.

• Advise and support family members and primary caregivers in managing mental health challenges affecting their loved ones.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted professional licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• Passing score on the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• A solid background working as a mental health counselor with demonstrable success in therapeutic settings.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR or similar technologies.

• Familiarity with best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information in an accessible manner.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients presenting with dual diagnoses or complex comorbidities.

• Familiarity with the effects of psychiatric medications and accompanying treatment regimens.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually , along with a robust sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
